Join the Iowa Stormwater Education Partnership (ISWEP)
ISWEP offers four partnership options for cities, private and public organizations that are working together to improve Iowa’s water quality. We encourage all communities and companies interested in promoting effective stormwater management to join the partnership.
1. Regulated & Non-Regulated MS4 Cities, Universities, and Counties
This is a Full Membership for Iowa communities required, by law, to have an NPDES Permit for stormwater management, as well as all other non-regulated communities and counties interested in implementing a more active stormwater program that includes an education component.
Partnership benefits include: Three networking meetings per year that include distribution of educational toolbox resources; Access to a library of training materials that can be personalized with local information, including stormwater related displays for community events; Localized training events / training discounts; General assistance, Member support; Legislative issue tracking, research and more.
2. Premiere Membership for Regulated and Unregulated MS4 Cities, Universities, and Counties
Simplify the annual budget with one payment to ISWEP. In addition to the benefits of standard ISWEP membership, premiere membership includes all staff training fees throughout the year. Premiere Members are also able to expand their stormwater programming through a special project with assistance from ISWEP staff.
3. Education Organizations
The Educational Organizations membership are for groups that are actively involved with stormwater and clean water education and outreach activities throughout the state.
Partnership benefits include access to three member meetings per year that includes distribution of educational toolbox resources; access to members only log-in area of IowaStormwater.org and discounts for ISWEP workshops / training and conferences.
4. Professional Organizations
The Professional Organization membership is for companies that provide services and products associated with stormwater and urban watershed management throughout the state. There are 3 Professional Levels based on employees.
Partnership benefits include access to three of the ISWEP member / networking meetings; Business logo added to Quarterly Newsletter & ISWEP website, an electronic copy of our newsletter and vendor discounts for ISWEP workshops, training and conferences.
An annual Individual Membership is also available.
