Learning objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Create detailed, site-specific SWPPPs that effectively prevent erosion and control sediment
- Apply regulatory requirements for General Permit No. 2 compliance
- Implement appropriate erosion, sediment, and velocity control practices
- Incorporate good housekeeping pollution prevention measures
- Navigate the six phases of SWPPP preparation
- Properly implement a SWPPP at a construction site
Certification process
- Complete the full ICSD training (online, in-person, or virtual)
- Pass the certification exam
- Sign the ICSD Code of Ethics
Upon successful completion, your certification is valid for three years and includes listing in our statewide database of certified professionals. Recertification training is required to maintain your credentials.
