Membership benefits

ISWEP strengthens stormwater management across Iowa by offering specialized services and technical expertise that complement local capacity. By pooling resources and knowledge, we develop tools and training that most communities wouldn’t have the time or staff to create on their own. Our collaborative network fosters meaningful connections, enabling members to learn from each other while ISWEP serves as a central hub for statewide best practices. This model gives communities access to high-quality resources without increasing staffing or budgets — saving time, avoiding duplication, and enhancing technical capabilities.

Our experienced team provides science-based guidance in stormwater management and water quality protection, helping members implement effective solutions.

We represent our members’ interests at the state capitol and maintain key regulatory connections to ensure Iowa’s stormwater community has a seat at the table.
