He will cover what shifting rainfall statistics mean for stormwater infrastructure in the Midwest. \nNovember 5 – Iowa Creek Stream Restoration: Construction Experiences and Performance During July’s Flooding Event\nNoel Steckelberg\, PE\, is a civil engineer with the City of Ames specializing in stream restoration and stabilization design. He will walk through construction of the Iowa Creek project and how it performed during this July’s flooding. \nDecember 10 – Moving Beyond Plastic: Sustainable Erosion Control Alternatives\nDr. Jaime Schussler\, Oklahoma State University\, researches erosion and sediment control for construction\, urban\, agricultural\, and reclamation sites.
