About the Webinar

Speaker Biography: Dana de Leon

Dana de Leon, P.E., is the Watershed Team Supervisor in the Environmental Services Department at the City of Tacoma, Washington. Dana has a degree in Chemical Engineering with 30+ years of experience in many stormwater issues: stormwater monitoring and source tracing, fate and transport of pollutants, stormwater management practices evaluations (in-lieu of programs, regional facilities, structural and nonstructural) and life cycle costs analysis of stormwater treatment and nonstructural management practices.

The 2021 series will focus on stormwater’s role in leading communities toward climate resiliency. We will hear from municipal leaders, institutional policymakers, and researchers from across the country and here in Iowa that are leading the resiliency charge. Some webinars still to be announced.

Stormwater webinars are eligible for 6 total hours of continuing education or professional development hours, 1 hour per webinar. Sessions are recorded live and available on demand if sessions are missed. All stormwater webinars take place from 12 – 1PM central time.
