City of Coralville Wins Award for Stormwater and Urban Watershed Development

The City is being recognized for the leadership and implementation of the Coral Ridge Avenue Green Infrastructure Reconstruction Project. In partnership with the City of North Liberty, the project included the installation of 29 bio-retention cells along Coral Ridge Avenue from Oakdale Boulevard to Forevergreen Road. These bio-retention cells clean stormwater runoff that flows off of the roadway during rain events, which protects the water quality of our local streams.
